Cranberry Nut Dessert
BackgroundMy mother-in-law made this over the holidays in 1999 while we were in Pagosa Springs, CO. It is simple, easy to make and delicious.
Recipe
1 cup flour Combine flour, sugar, salt. Add berries and nuts; toss to coat. Stir in butter, eggs and extract. Spread into a greased 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes.
NotesYou can substitute dried fruit for the cranberries successfully. I tried this with chopped dried apricots and chopped almonds instead and it was great. |
