Kaweah's Birthday 2004 Kaweah turned six (originally, we had told everyone seven, but that's because we couldn't remember what year we got married...) years old on December 14th! We had a small, private celebration for her at home with a special plated birthday dessert, custom made for the pup. It consisted of a scoop of Double Rainbow vanilla ice cream on a bed of rice crispies, drizzled with Trader Joe's organic creamy peanut butter. We topped it off with crushed cornflake crumbs, some party sprinkles and three dog biscuits.

	Somehow, from the moment I got the plate out, Kaweah knew that what I was preparing was for her.
