Such pretty photos Jen!!!! I wish I can take some photography lessons from you! We are going to Europe this Oct and I’m jittery about photos because I don’t want them to be horrible. What sort of F-value do you usually go for typically for landscape shots?
I doubt you are aware you have many silent fans. Your work is so stunning, exacting and your standard of excellence is wayyyyy up there. Awesome photos. I’m an artist, and your photographic art is so inspirational and makes me want to paint! The gorgeous photos of the star luminaries is just mouth watering! Your blogs, both this one and URB have been on my favorites, and I check you out daily and have for over a year now. I rarely comment on your photos, but I just thought to let you know, I am such a fan of yours and I’m sure there are tons of others out there that don’t speak up but are similarly wowed by you.
Mrs. E – for landscapes it depends on the situation of course, but typically f8-f11 as my lenses tend to perform best in that range although sometimes I got f22 if DOF demands it. Relax about your photos and just go and have fun. Besides, if you’re photos don’t turn out the way you want, that’s an excuse to go back again (which is what I’m doing this May!!) :)
