Jen, gorgeous pics! Is that Bear Lake? Looks like you did a pretty good hike to get those views of Longs. We were in RMNP last weekend. My husband did Flattop and has pics similar to yours except they are not even half as good :-D I did the Gem Lake hike with my daughter – not much color but the views were fabulous and the rock formations really wild. We got rained and hailed on while the Flattop crew got lovely weather. Looks like you got some of the same gorgeous weather!

Wow! I’m just going to gaze at these some more!

Man those are amazing! I love the one 3rd from the bottom. I haven’t had a chance to visit Colorado in over 5 years and I really miss it. Thanks for letting me have a little taste of Colorado to keep me sane :)

Breathtaking. How I so miss those colors, the vibrant yellow, the peaceful green and the stunning blue. Thank you for posting these.

Manisha – yes, it’s Bear Lake. I think the colors were late in RMNP this year. I’m heading back some time this week, me thinks. Good that you guys got up there though, it’s always nice to be in the mountains :)

Whitney – thanks and you’re welcome!

Bec – glad you enjoy them. Thanks.

Kelsey – thanks. We get a far heftier share of winter than most places with “seasons” :)

Melissa – thank you and you’re welcome.
