The second ain’t bad, either, but there is something so wonderful about that very first one. I can’t put my finger on it, I simply think it is very artistic. I find myself toggling back and forth between those, left-of-center dollops, to the swooping curve of icing that is just-right-of-center, then left, right between those small chocolate tips atop the lighter star-flowers…..
Then I am back to the second photo and I suddenly realize, OMG! This cake took FOREVER. You were meticulous with those chocolate dots along the border.
