Wow, love all those California native wildflowers. A carpet of color! You went at the perfect time.
WOW they are amazing. Such gorgeous colours. I love how you have captured the patterns in the varying colours.
Very cool, I love them all, great job.
Would love to know how you achieved the two different focus areas in shot 4. Is it one shot over layed on another? I shall try experimenting tomorrow.
How lovely. Thank you for transporting me from my rainy Brooklyn apartment with this amazing photos.
Barbara – it’s a macro shot and the two different flowers that you see in focus are in the same focal plane (same distance from the sensor)
These are beautiful Jen…thanks for sharing. I bet you watch every step, so you don’t damage any of these precious sprouts.
Love this last shot in particular- very Monet.
Hey Jen, did you manual focus all of these? I’m having a tough time! And I will go back to that after I familarize myself with my camera first.
Mrs E – yes, I manual focus everything except fast moving children, wildlife and domestics, quick action events, and sports.
Kudos to you Jen!!
So pretty – awesome pictures The posting date is March 28/2010, when were the pics actually taken?
JeanM – yes, these photos were taken at the end of March (in southern California).
