Our hopes of hiking Mueller Hut were dashed thanks to heavy snowfall the previous two days and avalanches triggering that morning. With fine weather on tap for the first time in many days, we shot for Sealy Tarns - halfway to Mueller. We were on a schedule to get back to Christchurch, so we crammed in a few quick hikes before leaving Mount Cook National Park. To read about the hike, go here. |
