I was on a quest for Austermann Samoa online which inevitably brought me across the paths of other soft yarns like GGH Vamos (got 5 skeins to make a shawl for grandma), GGH Esprit, and the more affordable yet severely backordered Plymouth Geisha. I found a nice light pink color GGH Esprit in a store and matched it with a similar shade in a long eyelash (like Crystal Palace Whisper but with less eyelash volume and about twice as expensive!) called Trendsetter Voila. My my, these yarns are pricey, but the feeling is soooo soft.

Yarn 1: GGH Esprit
Color 1: Pale Rose 01
Yarn 2: Trendsetter Voila
Color 2: Pale Rose 44
Quantity: One skein (88 yards) GGH Esprit, one skein (187 yds) Trendsetter Voila
Needles: size 13, 14" single point

Pattern:
Cast on 12 stitches loosely.
Knit 10 rows.
Knit one, yarn over ONCE and knit, continue until last stitch which you will knit once. *Yarn over once means I wrap the yarn around the needle two times (including the one time for regular knit stitch).
Knit all stitches, but let the wrapped stitches drop between each knit stitch.
Knit 10 rows.
Knit one, yarn over TWICE and knit, continue until last stitch which you will knit once. *Yarn over twice means I wrap the yarn around the needle three times (including the one time for regular knit stitch).
Knit all stitches, but let the wrapped stitches drop between each knit stitch.
Knit 10 rows.
I repeat the "yarn over twice" pattern until the last "yarn over" section and make that one a "yarn over once" just like the beginning for symmetry.
Knit 10 rows.
Cast off loosely.
This scarf was 5 inches wide by 5 feet long.
