reverse-bloom flower washcloth

back to make

I learned how to make this washcloth from my good friend, who happened to have the Interweave Knits Winter 2003 issue with the pattern by Meleanie Falick. The washcloth is beautiful, but from all of the knitting blogs online, no one can hang on to their washcloths for long before a friend, sister, mother, steals them away for their very own!

I was in the bay area to visit my grandmother and I went on a mission in search of cotton chenille. While there, I tried my first washcloth in light pink (CP cotton chenille 5509). I was making it for my grandmother and before I could finish stitching in the tails, she took it because she was so excited!
