remnant scarf |

I made this on a lark while looking at my bag of remnants. It is knit in garter stitch and ends up being about 6 feet long with the tassels (be sure to add extra tassels - it's so pretty!). I was very fond of it while I was knitting the scarf, but have given several away to others. You don't have to follow the pattern exactly, in fact, you should just use your best judgement and knit according to which yarn looks good next to other yarns and how their textures will feel. One note: I used rayon/acrylic chenille - I will never use that stuff to knit a scarf again, it worms. Luckily, the scarf is full of novelty yarns so you can't really notice it as a defect. I switched to cotton chenille for the next rows which didn't worm at all. |
